CanAssist Harden Murrumburrah has had a busy November in the lead up to Christmas.
Their November meeting was held on Wednesday the 5th of November with a good attendance.
The Christmas raffle has been commenced with selling days for tickets outside Supabarn on the 6th and 8th of November so far, with further selling days today (the 27th of November) and this Saturday, the 29th of November.
The raffle will be drawn at their Christmas dinner meeting on Wednesday the 10th of December. If any members would like a book to sell tickets, please contact Bev 0408 862 183 to organise. CanAssist’s Christmas dinner meeting will be held at the Lighthorse Hotel. The meeting will be held at 6pm, followed by dinner. Dinner is $30 per person for a 2 course meal.
Publicity Officer Maxine Davis said, “Please put your name down to attend and pay at Ohana Collection, Albury St Murrumburrah, no later than 3rd December. And we would love you to bring a friend along if you wish. Hoping we see you there to celebrate another year of fundraising and supporting our community.”
CanAssist has had great success with their fundraising initiatives.
“Our Cans for Can Assist initiative has hit the $20k mark – an excited Steve Pinney is to be congratulated on the work he has undertaken to raise these funds for our branch. He does have some helpers particularly with the recent races and other events when a large collection takes place. We thank each and every one, that steps up to assist Steve. It does not go unnoticed.”
