Passing of David Patterson

Well known community stalwart, David Patterson passed away peacefully on September 20, aged 77 years with his loving wife Val of 55 years by his side. He’s a much loved father and father in law of Corinne & Michael Rolls, Nicole & Michelle McAleer-Patterson, Jason, Simone & Richard Apps, Sean & Sabatina, Daniel & Stacey.

Cherished Pa of Bradley, Mikayla, Nathan, Lachlan, Tori, Jack, Hannah, Riley, Kirsten, Elijah, Jacob, Amelia, Ava, Luca, Angelica, Jake, Frankie and Isabella. Much loved brother of Mary (deceased), John (deceased), Brian (deceased), Peter (deceased), and Judith Sheehan.

Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, and all extended family and his many friends. Late of Jake Miller Place, Young.

David was well known in the region as he and his family ran Patterson Brothers Funerals.

His funeral service was held yesterday at St Mary’s Church, and was live-streamed given COVID-19 lockdown restrictions that limited the number of people able to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of David to a Memorial Fund towards the purchase of vital respiratory equipment to service the patients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
