Thursday bowls – 26 players. Margins from 3 to 11. Vouchers went to Ian Apps and Colin Stokell with a margin of 11 shots.

Guy Pickering Charity Challenge played on Thursday night. Fatbots (Thursday division) defeated ARMA Fabrications (Tuesday division) 15 shots to 8. CanAssist and Young Crisis Accommodation Centre are the two charities selected and each will receive $250.

District Pairs Open division won by David Ward and George Somerville who defeated Brendan and Dylan McAlister 18-16 in the final. A very close game throughout and lots of good bowls.

David Ward and George Somerville defeated Rob and Bevan McAlister in one semi-final and Brendan and Dylan McAlister defeated Rob Anderson and Brad Lange 17-16 in the other.

Seniors division played at Harden and Terry McDonald and Jim Deacon defeated Geoff Holt and Graeme Edgerton by 1 shot in the final.

President’s Reserve division was played at Cootamundra Country Club and Greg Field and Wally Chater defeated Michael Webb and Terry Mulligan in the final.

Club Singles – Harold Anderson played John Cooper. A very close game up to the stage when Harold led 18-17 but Harold then dominated the scoring to win 31-20.

Saturday Jackpot bowls – 10 players. Winning teams were Albert Carter and Dennis Rosen – 8 shots and Scott Douglass, Les Fanning and Mark Anderson – 1 shot.

Pennants matches played last Sunday April 7th, Grade 3 side played Grade 4 side and won 74 shots to 38. Grade 6 side lost to Binalong 68 shots to 44. These games were played at the Young Bowling Club.
