Brian Gibson and Jeff Jacquier won their game by 11 shots, Aldo Malvicino and Joe Bargwanna had a two shot margin in their game and Tony Ruhl and Ian Schofield won their game by five shots.
There were only 16 players involved on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday afternoon saw the annual Christmas Bowls event put on by the Young Bowling Club Fishing Club.
While player numbers were a little down on previous years, once again this was a very successful afternoon.
A total of 30 bowlers took to the greens for two games of triples.
After the first game, the teams were split into two groups and battled for the major prize and minor prize with Joe Bargwanna, Mark Anderson and Therese Ruhl winning a large ham each.
The minor prize went to Ian Schofield, Jill Rosen and Phillip (Whoopi) Hewson. The afternoon was completed with a sausage sizzle and all in attendance had an enjoyable afternoon.
Once again, thanks to the members of the Fishing Club for their continuing support.
Also during the week, the final rounds were played in the Guy Pickering Charity Challenge and for a change there was fine weather for both nights.
On Wednesday night the winners were T’s Rule and they were also the overall winners for this division.
For the Thursday night, Young Lions Club had the best score with 15 points. Going into this final round Boof’s Heroes were at the top of the table with 69 points and FATBBOTS were in second place with 67 points.
Both teams had wins on the night with Boof’s Heroes finishing on 82 points and FATBBOTs on 81 points.
Fortunately, there was no need to hold a play–off to decide the winners in the case of a tie.
The final was to be played on Wednesday night and the result will be in next week’s news.
Bowlers should check the notices concerning upcoming events – especially concerning the Club Fours Championships and Mixed Pairs Championships.
On Wednesday the 22nd of December there will be a Jack Attack event.
