Games in the Club Singles Championships continued last weekend and one game last Thursday. Results on Thursday, Harold Anderson def. K McKenzie. On Saturday, James Maloney def. Peter Watts in a very close game.

Jackpot bowls on Saturday, only one game of Triples. The winners of the Patterson Bros vouchers with a 3 shot margin, Michael Webb, Joe Bargwanna and Dennis Rosen.

Pennants matches continued on Sunday with all Young teams competing. The Grade 3 side had a win over Quandialla 4. Grade 4 lost to Boorowa RSL. The Grade 5 team won against Boorowa RSL. Grade 6 lost to Cootamundra Country Club.

Charity bowls continued on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Tuesday night winners were Arma Fabrications with 16 points. Thursday night, the Fundernuts won on a countback.

This Saturday March 23rd, the District Pairs will be played at 3 venues. The Open event played at Young, play commencing at 9.30am. The Senior at Harden and the Reserves at Cootamundra.

Jackpot bowls again on Thursday and Saturday, both commencing at 1pm. Thursday March 14th Jackpot bowls results – 28 players, 7 games of pairs. The winning team with a margin of 16 shots, Aldo Malvicino and Vic Brown.

The Young Bowling Club wishes to extend its condolences to the family of Joe Lowe. Joe was a long standing member and friend to all.

Nominations are available for the Club Pairs, details on the noticeboard.

Pennant matches continue on Sunday, Grades 3, 5 and 6 competing. Grade 4 have the bye.

The new Chinese restaurant is operating with great reviews. Great food at very competitive prices.
