Prostate Cancer Awareness Talk Held at Harden Men’s Shed

A prostate cancer awareness talk was recently held at the Harden Men’s Shed, thanks to the efforts of local Rotarian Karen Tanswell.

The session featured Rotarian Jim Ryan, who shared his personal experience and insights into the management of prostate cancer. Eight attendees were present for the informative and heartfelt talk, which aimed to raise awareness and encourage early detection.

Karen Tanswell was also warmly thanked for providing cakes for the event, adding a personal and welcoming touch to the gathering. The initiative was well received and highlighted the importance of community conversations around men’s health.
