Roses and summer flowering bulbs.

Roses and summer flowering bulbs.

__Do you want to grow roses so that they are healthy and produce beautiful blooms?
Do you want to know how to grow pretty summer bulbs in your garden? __

In my upcoming garden workshop, you will learn everything you need to know about these beautiful flowering plants. The workshop will be divided into two sections.

Roses
How to maintain roses from soil preparation, planting, fertilising, mulching and the most important factor of all, pruning. This will include us demonstrating pruning on the roses in our garden. We will also explain the differences between the groups of roses and how their growing habits and flowering patterns will work within your garden. I will share some insider’s tips from a commercial rose grower and give you some specifications for what varieties will grow best in the Hilltops region.

Summer Flowering Bulbs
Many gardeners focus on planting bulbs for flowering in late winter and spring in the garden, however there are bulbs that are planted later in the year to give flowers in the summer months. We will teach you what to plant, how to plant, when to plant and how to create a beautiful summer flowering garden using bulbs such as lilies, dahlias and gladiolus. For very little effort you can have gorgeous flowers to admire in your garden right through the summer months.
