Despite the chilly weather, the Sacred Syndicate SMC 2025 Hume Chapter Blanket Run had a succesul run across the region, raising money for two important charities.

The Blanket Run saw riders take to the road through Hilltops and beyond, raising an impressive $2275 for charity.

The total was divided between Zac’s Place Inc and CanAssist Harden Murrumburrah, both of which do critical work in the area.

Riders from Grenfell and Cowra met in Young to travel as a group to Harden, with riders from Cootamundra heading straight to Harden. There were 39 registrations altogether and the Blanket Run left Harden to stop at the Court House Hotel in Boorowa.

The Blanket Run then headed to the Club House Hotel in Yass for the lunch stop.

Returning to Harden, the ride wound down at the Harden Country Club.

Sacred Syndicate SMC National President Vince Behler was pleased with the success of the day despite the cold.

“Congratulations to all the winners of the prizes on offer, and thank you to all the riders for digging deep and their behaviour on the ride, without riders like yourselves and our sponsors days like these are much harder to host.”

“These sponsors went above and beyond with their gifts and hospitality throughout the event and we can’t wait to help support your businesses into the future.”

“To the members of the following motorcycle clubs we thank you for your attendance, God’s Squad CMC, Copperheads SMC.”

“Finally thank you to Hume Chapter President “Wombat” and your Chapter for a well organised event, you should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved,” said Vince.
