Santa had a chat with his good mates at Demondrille Brigade and asked if they could take him around Harden-Murrumburrah for a special Christmas Eve visit.

Harden-Murrumburrah residents are in for a real treat this Christmas Eve.

Deputy Captain of the Demondrille Rural Fire Brigade, Andy White said they had been contacted by the big man in red about a special assignment.

“Santa came to a training night to ask if we would be able to assist him,” Deputy Captain White said.

“He asked if we could take him for a trip around Harden-Murrumburrah on Christmas Eve starting at 5 pm so he can check his naughty and nice list one last time and give out some lolly bags.”

“The run will probably take about an hour.”

“Of course, we said we could help him out.”

The team at Demondrille Brigade have asked people to join together so they can limit the number of stops they need to make.

Thanks to Santa’s helpful elves, a map of Santa’s little trip has been included with this article so that everyone knows where he will be.

The Demondrille Brigade wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and would like to ask the community to live bushfire-ready.
