Postponed last October due to torrential rain, the Silo Art Fest will finally take place on Sunday, March 12 from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Silo Art Fest forms part of the Hilltops Art Trail and takes place at Mill Park on Albury Street, Murrumburrah.

A free ‘art trail bus’ (Bus No 3 Arts Program) will leave Young on Sunday morning for the Silo Art Fest.

Two Australian and internationally acclaimed street artists will perform live at the festival on the ‘Street Art Wall’.

Damien Mitchell and Luke Vineburg will demonstrate what street art can be.

Both artists began their careers in Wagga, but there is no denying that they have taken simple graffiti art to a whole other level with their street artistry.

You will not want to miss the opportunity to see these artists in action.

The Silo Art Fest is more than just street art, though.

It is a festival for all forms of art and encourages families to participate in all the art events on the day.

First Nation weaving, Patina alchemy, paint pour, sculpture, leather art, paper making, artworks, the list goes on.

There will also be the Bush Band, gold panning by an old Bushie and poetry reading about Australia’s past.

Food will be available throughout the day, including an all-day sausage sizzle, fresh cakes and coffee and, of course, the ice cream cart.
