The Sing Australia Group in Young has recently changed their practice times to Wednesday afternoons.

The group now meets between 2pm and 4pm on Wednesdays.

Barbara Mustert from Sing Australia Young is hoping the move may attract some new group members.

“Sing Australia Young NSW is calling your name! We’re a welcoming community group that believes everyone has a voice worth sharing, regardless of experience or skill level.”

“Sing Australia is more than just a singing group – we’re a nationwide movement celebrating the pure joy of singing together. Our Young NSW group is part of a vibrant network of community choirs across Australia, all united by our love of music,” said Barbara.

The group’s repertoire ranges from classic Australian songs to popular hits across the generations to seasonal songs for special occasions.

They have been singing in aged care centres around the region for 24 years, covering Boorowa, Harden, Young and Cootamundra.

The cost is $10 a week which covers the cost of the hall hire, conductor and pianist.
