SMART and Drama Night

It was a full house at Boorowa Central School on Thursday the 8th of September as families and citizens packed the school hall to watch the SMART and Drama Night concert.

The concert had been scheduled in 2020 and 2021 but had to be cancelled due to COVID precautions, so the students were delighted to bring this popular event back to the community this year.

Performances were delivered by students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

While all students performed well, of outstanding merit were performances by Kindergarten/Year 1 “Let’s Go Swimming”, Yindy “Lava”, Year 2/3 “Pink Panther”, Zach Thompson’s “The Battle of New Orleans”, Year 4/5 “Tiddalik the Frog” and “Funky Junk”, and BSC Choir’s “I’m Yours”.

All students are to be congratulated for their commitment to delivering a great night’s entertainment.

Around the walls of the hall were samples of student’s artworks, which were colourful and showed off the emerging talent of Boorowa’s youngsters.
