Stash And Treasure Sale Fundraiser For Gunning
If your hands are itching to make that beautiful quilt, but you don’t have everything you need perhaps you need to visit the Stash and Treasure sale at Gunning Shire Hall on Sunday, March 10.
It was a great success last year, so Creative Gunning Inc has decided to host another Stash and Treasure sale on Sunday, March 10 from 9 am to 3 pm at Gunning Shire Hall.
Let’s be very clear - this is not a Trash and Treasure and it is not a sale of finished arts and crafts pieces.
This is a sale of the tools, materials and makings to create arts and crafts pieces.
All arts and crafts materials, tools and equipment sold must be of good quality.
The number of stalls is limited.
For those people who want to offload their stash, but don’t have the time or inclination to have a stall, Creative Gunning Inc is happy to accept any donated stashes.
The makings and materials must be clean, in good condition and vermin-free.
Items suitable for sale or donation include fabric, haberdashery, wool, patterns, books and larger items such as spinning wheels, looms, sewing machines, etc.
Contact organisers to arrange for pick up or drop off prior to sale day.
Stall holders will be asked to pay a $30 fee which entitles them to one trestle table and a chair.
If they require two trestle tables, the fee is $45.
Stallholders are responsible for handling their own sales, and public liability insurance is recommended.
For stallholders who don’t have their own public liability insurance, a sales commission will also be charged.
Bookings close Friday, February 25, so send your contact details and a brief description of what you’d like to sell or donate to email@example.com and you will receive a booking form with terms and conditions and payment details.
Anyone with handcrafted items for sale within a 100 km radius of Gunning township is invited to join Creative Gunning Inc which sells members’ craft items through their shop in Gunning.
