Nestled on top of Nasmyth Street, overlooking Young, sits Green Glass Studio. Local artisan Suez Hardy works her magic from within her studio creating unique and beautiful pieces of jewellery using recycled materials.

Her unique range of treasures includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, coffee pod jewellery, teas and hand-stitched locally-sourced leather goods. Suez says jewellery is not simply about beauty.

“It’s about the origins of where the material came from, the intention and new life that it has been given, the experience it has gone through to become what it is today,” she said.

“It reflects our own journey in so many ways, the creative transitions we move through in our own lives, and the beauty of who we are through the experiences we have lived through.”
