Uniting Church To Hold Mother’s Day Fete

The Young Uniting Church will be holding their annual Mother’s Day Fete on Saturday the 11th of May.

There is always a huge range of stalls at the Fete and this year is no exception. For those looking for a sweet treat for Mum, there will be an assortment of cakes, slices, sweets and lamingtons.

For the green thumb Mum there will be a selection of plants and beautiful bunches of flowers.

Along with craft stalls, there will be stalls with everything from general bric-a-brac to jams, pickles and honey. Jewellery, cards, jewellery boxes, patchwork bedspreads, cushions, lights, candles, crystals as well as a white elephant stall are all on offer.

There will also be two raffles with some lovely prizes on offer. The first raffle prize is a food hamper, craft basket, rug and sandwich maker while the second is a craft basket, painting, rug and waffle maker.

While you browse, there will be Devonshire tea available in the hall and a barbecue will be running all morning.

The Fete begins at 8am and will be held in the hall and grounds of the Church.
