This Saturday the 27th of April, the charity Joan’s Wish will be holding a ‘Walk with Panky’ to raise awareness and collect donations towards pancreatic cancer, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) and mental health.

Panky the Panda is the mascot for Joan’s Wish and will be completing a 3km walk from Harden Tyres to the Light Horse Hotel. Residents of Albury Street are being asked to decorate their fences with the colour purple to show their support for the cause. Purple is the colour associated with pancreatic cancer awareness.

Those participating are asked to assemble at Harden Tyres at 9am where coffee will be provided. The walk will then begin at 9.30am and head towards the Light Horse Hotel.
All donations received will be going to the Pancare Foundation, a not for profit organization fighting pancreatic cancers.

Special guest at the Light Horse Hotel will be Heather from Fat Bob and the Blonde, who will be giving an inspirational talk on her solo motorbike and trailer journey around Australia. Lunch can be purchased at the Light Horse Hotel.
