What’s Happening At Burrowa House?

Burrowa-House

Burrowa House is celebrating new floors thanks to generous donations from the community.

Generous donations from the community have made it possible for floors in the older section of the facility to be replaced, bringing it in line with the new building.

Burrowa House’s floors look amazing and residents and staff are very happy with the upgrade.

A few local and not-so-local artists have donated works to brighten up hallways and communal areas which has made a big difference as well.

Replacing curtains and doing some minor upgrade work in some of the resident rooms is on the ‘wish list’ agenda to help ensure Burrowa House has a more uniform look.

Residents are always looking for activities to do both inside and out of Burrowa House.

Some residents have been able to help at the Opportunity Shop for a few hours per week, with others being involved with the Men’s Shed.

Burrowa House has some keen card players, so if you have a spare hour or two and would like to visit and play Uker, 500 or Poker with some of the residents, they would love to see you.

Contact Jocelyn on 0402 256 410 to let her know. Burrowa House continues to provide the best possible care and services to the aged care community of Boorowa.
