Kelly-Rose-Bowl-Winners

On Wednesday 16th August the ladies from the South West District Clubs met at Cootamundra Ex–Services to play in the Kelly Rose Bowl - a competition that began in 1994 at Quandialla. It is held every three years.

Each club had two teams of triples and played 21 ends. As Cootamundra Ex–Services has a synthetic green it took a while for some players to adjust. The day proved very successful and was enjoyed by all. Young were the winners of the day with a total score of 51 followed by Grenfell 44, Boorowa 38, Cootamundra 32 and Harden 19.

This weekend the District Fours Championships are being played at Cootamundra Ex–Services. Our President’s Day will be held on the 14th September and we hope to have lots of visitors.
