Young Food Hall (YFH) will be taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period so the fantastic volunteers can have a well earned rest.
Chairperson Debbie Longhurst said the Food Hall will open on two days in early January.
“On Wednesday January 7 and Wednesday January 14, 2026, the doors will be open from 9am -10:30am where free food will be available to the general community.”
“For those who are struggling and in need of a helping hand, please come in and see our volunteers and take home some lovely food supplied by our local stores and the generous community members who donate produce to the Food Hall.”
For registered clients, the Young Food Hall is now taking orders for Christmas hampers. The hampers are $25 each.
“This is great value for money. Please see the volunteers on Wednesday mornings to beat the rush,” said Debbie.
The Young Food Hall is located in the LFE building on the corner of Main and Cloete Streets in Young (opposite the Services Club).
“Young Food Hall and LFE Community Supports wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” said Debbie.
