The reunion is celebrating 50 years since starting Year 7. It will take place on Saturday the 4th of October at the Young Golf Club from 5pm. Find them on Facebook for more information on the reunion.
Cherry Blossom Garden Club Meeting
The next meeting will be held in the Conference Room at the Federation Motor Inn on Thursday 12th June at 2 pm. Guest speaker Mandy Sachs will be giving the run down on floral arranging. The Club’s Christmas in July is also coming up as well as organising a bus trip to Canberra in the Spring. New members are invited to come along or contact 0429 834 203.
Hilltops Youth Action Group Youth Passport Program
A new initiative empowering young people across the Hilltops region! Funded by the Youth Opportunities Grant, this program is all about connection, skills and opportunity.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Your own Youth Passport – earn stamps by attending workshops, events and activities!
- Creative & cultural workshops – from art to drag to culture.
- Life skills + employment tools – budgeting, resumes, networking and more.
- Youth Expo – your one-stop shop for opportunities, clubs & community orgs.
- All workshops are free
- Wrap-up celebration – we’re recognising your impact in a big way!

South West Group Council Meeting
Southwest CWA Group Council Meeting will be held on Saturday the 14th of June 2025. The meeting will now be held at the Young CWA rooms at 7 Lovell Street, instead of at Binalong. 9.30am for morning tea and 10.00am start. Harden will run the trading table.

Canimbla CWA Monthly Meeting This Week
The Canimbla CWA will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday the 12th June 2025 at 10.00am at the Ngulaway room by the Library. If you are looking to make new friends and join a group with like-minded people, pop along and meet the members. The branch has craft days on the Thursday afternoon after the meeting finishes and on the fourth Thursday of the month. The branch recently held a workshop on making Dorsett buttons for Seniors Week.

Young Hospital Auxiliary 95th Birthday Luncheon This Weekend
Guest speaker is Jessica Conneely from Dance4Wellbeing. Raffle tickets $5 for prize of wine tasting and grazing platters at Grove Estate Wines for 10 people. 12pm for 12.30 at the Young Golf Club on Sunday the 15th of June. Tickets are $40 from Young Services Club reception by June 6.
This Is My Brave Australia Presents A Song of Resilience A Mental Health Production in Boorowa
Real mental health stories from the Hilltops community. Celebrate strength, courage and mental health awareness. 2-3.30pm on Sunday the 15th of June at the Boorowa Central School Auditorium. General admission $20, concession $5. Tickets available on eventbrite or at the door.
Hilltops Council Companion Animal Advisory Committee
Hilltops Council would like to invite members of the community to nominate for the Hilltops Council Companion Animal Advisory Committee to aid and discuss companion animals matters in the Local Government Area (LGA) of Hilltops Council and to promote responsible pet ownership responsibility between government and the community.
The purpose of the Committee is to:
- act as an advisory body to Council and make recommendations to Council;
- assist with the development of strategic policies, programs, services and plans for companion animals;
- provide strategic input and advice in relation to Council’s companion animal events and educational programs to help raise awareness about companion animals and the Companion Animals Act 1998; and
- assist Council with the delivery of effective and responsible care and management of companion animals.
