Young High School Presents Performance Picnic

Dine on sweet and savoury picnic boxes provided by the Home Economics students as you view a series of theatre performances by English and drama students including monologues, sonnet recitals, pre-recorded videos and live group performances. Thursday the 24th of July at 6pm at the Young High School Hall. Tickets are available from the office.

Harden Hospital Auxiliary Monthly Morning Tea and AGM This Week

Thursday the 3rd of July, commencing at 10.30am. Guest speaker is Melissa Pinney of Harden Regional Development Corporation (HRDC). $10 per person. 98 Albury Street. All welcome. AGM will follow morning tea.

Hilltops Youth Action Group Youth Passport Program Nutrition Workshop with Live Better

A fun and informative Nutrition Workshop where you’ll learn all about eating healthy and feeling great! Are you aged 12–24 and interested in eating better, feeling better, and having fun while doing it? Come along to the free Youth Nutrition Workshop, a hands-on, interactive session focused on smart snacking, healthy habits, and making the right food choices when hunger strikes. You’ll learn how to prepare tasty, balanced meals on a budget, explore the powerful link between what you eat and how you feel (mentally and physically), and get creative making your own colourful, nutritious snacks and smoothies. Boorowa Run Club Mum’s and Bubs Run/Walk

Wednesdays at 10am. Meet at the playground carpark. Bring your prams, scooters, bikes or carriers. Walk or run around the 3km or 5km loop or turn around wherever suits you. Plenty of seats along the way to stop for a feed. Coffee afterwards at Hollys at 11am with the CWA Mother’s Group.

Murringo Barracks Art Gallery Exhibition: Everyday Photographers

Photography exhibition featuring works by Bee Coll, Julie Downs and Cindy McCallum. Open Saturdays and Sundays 10am-4pm. Free admission. Exhibition runs from Saturday the 21st of June until Saturday the 30th of August.

Harden’s CWA Co-Op Shop Open This Friday

Harden’s CWA Co-op Shop will be open again this coming Friday from 9am through to 1pm. Along with the usual tasty array of treats for sale, such as cakes, biscuits and slices, a new initiative is a “Winter Warmer” with a different menu item on offer each week. This Friday it will be Leek and Potato Soup so get in quick before it’s gone. While you’re at the CWA rooms in Neill Street, Harden why not enjoy a free Devonshire Tea and have a look at the craft items for sale.

SES Youth Internship

10 week program running every Wednesday 5.30-7.30pm from the 30th July at Young HQ. For ages 15 to 16. Develop leadership skills, skill up on equipment, enjoy the teamwork, learn fundamental first aid and get hands on experience. There is an information session at 6pm on Wednesday the 9th of July.

Kanzas Rose Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser

Starting at Bribbaree Showground, there will be a 200km ride through the countryside. Returning to the Showground, there will be live entertainment, bar facilities, food, raffles, auctions, the draw for the major prize and much more. $20 per vehicle. Bus available for $30 per person. Saturday the 13th of September starting at 10am.
