ELSIE HINES WINS WOMEN’S CLUB SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP
Congratulations to Elsie Hines who, after an exciting game against her opponent Sheila Traynor, won the 2019 Young WBC Club Singles Championship. Sheila had a hard time matching Elsie’s game but she managed to put in some fantastic shots. Elsie won 25 to 16 but the match could have gone either way for the first half.

CLUB PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Women’s Club Pairs Championship games start on Thursday 9 May at Young WBC. There will be some exciting matches on that first morning and spectators are very welcome to come and watch. THURSDAY WOMEN’S SOCIAL BOWLS From now on the women’s social Thursday bowls will start at the same time as the men at 1pm. Have your name in for a game by 12.30pm. All welcome.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
The ladies at Young Women’s Bowling Club wish all the Mum’s out there a very happy and well-deserved Mother’s Day. If you’re looking for somewhere to have lunch that day, try the new Chinese Restaurant at the Young Bowling Club. The food is fantastic and the setting is lovely and relaxing.
