GANMAIN WINS REGION 10 TRIPLES
Young Women’s Bowling Club hosted the Region 10 Triples Playoff for 2019 on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Representing South Western District were local girls Elsie Hines, Jenny Holt and Margo Parker from Young. Southern District was represented by a team from Temora Ex. and Central Riverina by a team from Ganmain. Ganmain had two wins + 32, Temora came second with 1 win -27, Young came third with no wins and a -5.

CHAMPION OF CLUB CHAMPION SINGLES
Judith Mulligan will be representing Young at the Champion of Club Champions Singles Playoff at Asquith in Sydney next week. The competition will run from Tuesday 2 July to Friday 5 July. Judith is wished all the best and the Club will be eagerly watching results. Good luck Judith.

REGIONAL PAIRS PLAYOFF
The Region 10 Pairs Playoff will be hosted by Wagga RSL this year. Unfortunately, there won’t be a team from Young going. In the Open Pairs, Grenfell’s Rosemary Walters and Katheryn Betcher were the winners with Therese Ruhl and Mary Bennett from Young runner up. In the Senior Pairs, Cootamundra Country Club’s Vivienne Christie and Betty Cleveland won with Kate Cooper and Jenny Holt from Young runner up. The ladies from Young wish Grenfell and Cootamundra CC all the best in their respective competitions.

Tuesday 25 June – Region 10 Pairs Playoff/Women’s Social Bowls start 10am.
Wednesday 26 June – Region 10 Pairs Playoff Final.
Thursday 27 June – Cowra Charity Day/Women’s Social Bowls start 1.30pm.
