Congratulations to Ann Gardner who won the Club Minor Singles Championship last Thursday 18th July. Ann played like a champion to win 25/12 against Jenny Holt. Members were thrilled for Ann as she has been after this title for several years.
Congratulations also to Judith Mulligan who came runner-up at the Regional Singles play-off at Wagga last week.
While the Minor Singles were on, 5 ladies played social bowls even though the weather wasn’t pleasant. Julie Alavoine, Joy Murray and Kate Cooper played a Triples game against Julie Alavoine (double lead), Pat Reid and Anne Gardner. Kate’s team proved very strong to win 20/5. Well done.

A few ladies played on Thursday afternoon getting in some practice for when they play in the Open Fours at State finals in Tamworth early September.
Members are reminded the Club Triples Championship entries open Tuesday 23rd July and close 6th August so start getting your teams together.
Social bowls are played Tuesday mornings starting at 10am with names in by 9.30am, also Thursday afternoons starting at 1.30pm with names in by 1pm.
