There’s nothing quite like wandering through a beautiful garden during Spring.

The Young Hospital Auxiliary will host a trio of open gardens on Saturday, October 29 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Karen and Paul Kaveney will share their garden at ‘Coolonga’ at 245 McLaughlins Road, Thuddungra, 34 kilometres from Young. Enjoy an individual picnic box with tea or coffee for $10 at ‘Coolonga’.

The second beautiful garden belongs to Helenie and Keith Carmody at 62 Redhill Road, Young. While at the Carmody garden you can take advantage of a plant stall.

Rounding out the Spring delight is Dorothy and Rob Nash’s garden at 13 Jake Miller Place, Young.

An admission fee of $5 per garden will be charged, with all proceeds going to the Auxiliary.

The group will also run a raffle, with $5 tickets sold at each garden until 4 pm and offering three prizes. Raffle winners will be drawn at the second garden at 4:30 pm and notified by phone.

Visitors to Young may also enjoy visiting Carrington Park and the Chinese Tribute Garden free of charge.

If you would like to know anything prior to the day, contact Janice on 6382 6770, Lyn on 0422 604 132 or Young VIC on 1800 628 233.

A mud map is available at each garden.
